Weekly Sunday Gathering

Every Sunday | 4pm
Shiloh Presbyterian Church
(see events calendar for details)

Join us on Sundays for an informal gathering with worship as we come together to pray, plan, and prepare for our fall launch.

As a new church plant, we currently rent space from another local church and hold our gatherings in the afternoon. In preparation for our full launch this fall, we are holding preview worship services on the first Sunday of each month at 4:00 p.m.

A typical worship service lasts about an hour and a half and includes Scripture readings, prayer, preaching, and a blend of modern songs and classic hymns.

On the first Sundays, we provide nursery care for children ages 0–3. You can check in your child upon arrival with our welcome team.

All other children are invited to join us in the service and will be provided with a worship bag. For more about our philosophy of children in worship, please see below.

On the other Sundays of the month, we still gather at 4:00 p.m. in a more informal setting. These gatherings last about an hour and a half and include a 30-minute sermon, followed by prayer and time spent preparing together for our fall launch.

Children are welcome to remain with their families during this time, and coloring sheets and other quiet activities are available.

What to Expect

Children In
Worship

At Ebenezer Presbyterian, we believe children are an important part of the worshiping community. In Scripture, God calls His people to gather together in worship, and children are included among His covenant people. Because of this, we value having children present in our worship services as they grow and learn alongside the rest of the church.

While children may not understand everything that happens in a service, they learn by participating in the prayers, songs, Scripture readings, and preaching week after week. Being present in worship helps shape their understanding of who God is and what it means to belong to His people.

We provide a nursery for children ages 0–3 during our worship services. As children grow, we encourage parents to begin helping them learn how to participate in worship.

Children ages 4 and up are encouraged to remain in the service with their families. To help them engage, we provide worship bags with quiet activities.

We know that having young children in worship can sometimes feel challenging, and that’s okay. The sounds and presence of children are a reminder that the church is a growing family. Parents are always welcome to step out briefly if needed, but please know that children are a valued and welcome part of our worship.

If you have questions about how to train and prepare your children for worship, we would love to talk with you.
